Week 2

A few sketches from the second week of figure drawing. Had a tough time this night, as I couldn't really find anything interesting in the model to play with. You can see that I started to play up his lack of interest by turning him into a golem type character, but even that feels a bit lacking.

Hulk/Wolverine Redux

Went to print this piece out a few days ago and was confronted with several glaring errors. Came home and started working on it and decided it would be best to just fix the whole damn thing.

I think it's an improvement over this.

The Devil

5:00 in the morning! Damn that Yuki and her racing me... On the upside I'm posting this ahead of her, so maybe that means I win?

Either way, here's my version of 'The Devil', our sketch groups newest challenge.

I did this based on an idea I came up with years ago, during an game of Hunter. A buddy of mine had been playing around with different plays on words, and I decided to give it a go. So I began referring to Lucifer as the Mourning Star. I don't really remember the details of the story, but when I sat down to work on this piece that name popped back into my head and voila!
